  • We have over 24,000 patients
  • We consult with more than 3000 people in an average week and about 1000 of those patients are seen face to face
  • We have more than 20 Doctors as well as Nurses, Paramedics and Pharmacists
  • We also take on medical students and registrars to train and support
  • We have two operating theatres for carpal tunnel surgery, vasectomies and skin operations

Day 2

The second video in our series features our Reception Manager showing you around the Reception area at Fisherton House and takes you upstairs into our Call Centre.

  • Face coverings are still required when attending our surgeries
  • Please respect social distancing in the waiting rooms
  • On average, our Call Centre Handlers answer 1200 telephone calls per day
  • The Call Centre Team are based upstairs in Fisherton House and take all the incoming calls into the Practice

Day 3

The third video in our series features Dr Henderson explaining more about our urgent list and appointments, and the changes made due to COVID-19. Dr Dopson then takes you on a tour of our Practice.

  • Everyday a duty team of GPs and Paramedics work together to call every patient who are booked onto the list and if needed, will invite patients in face to face
  • We receive up to 200 requests for urgent calls on top of routine appointments per day
  • Routine appointments are managed as telephone appointments first, and you will be invited in by the clinician if needed
  • Although this system is different to before COVID-19, it does give us the flexibility to continue to manage your care in as higher quality as we can while managing the significant increasing demand in our service
  • Our appointment system may experience changes so please do keep up to date with our current procedures on our website

Day 4

The fourth video in our series features Hannah, one of our Paramedics talking about our hub, home visiting and their vital role within the Practice.
