LEARNING DISABILITIES

Practice Support

Hidden Disabilities Sunflower

Not all people with hidden disabilities require assistance. But if you do, wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower discreetly indicates that you need additional support or just a little more time.

Our staff will recognise the sunflower products so you are more than welcome to wear these when visiting the Practice. We are in the process of becoming a member of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower which gives extra training to our staff to help them gain a deeper understanding of hidden disabilities, as well as offering the sunflower products to our patients.

Quality Checker Visit

In May 2018, we had a visit from Healthwatch Wiltshire and Wiltshire People First to review our service provision for patients with learning disabilities and autism. Two service users and two support workers visited the Practice and met with staff to find out about our work to support our patients.
