Alzheimers Support provide dementia advisors who can provide confidential advice and up-to-date information that can help people to understand more about dementia and what might happen in the future, and to make informed decisions about care, treatment and support.
Carer Support Wiltshire
Offering local support and signposting to carers across Wiltshire. Salisbury Medical Prcatice hosts a monthly Carer's Cafe with Carer Support Wiltshire on the 1st Tuesday of every month, contact us for more information.
Headway Salisbury and South Wiltshire is a charity supporting people affected by brain injury, as well as their families and carers. Headway Salisbury run an informal Brain Injury Cafe at salisbury Medical practice on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, contact us to find out more.
Macmillan Cancer Support
Macmillan offer a range of support for anyone affected by cancer. Their new free Telephone Buddy service is there for you. You will be matched with someone who understands what you're going through, and they'll give you a weekly call.
MS Society campaign at all levels, fund ground-breaking research and provide award winning support and information. Salisbury Medical Practice is the venue for the MS Society's MS Cafe, held on the 3rd Friday of every month.
The Royal British Legion
The Royal British Legion provides lifelong support for the Armed Forces community - serving men and women, veterans, and their families. Every Monday afternoon from 4-6pm, the RBL offer a drop-in advice session.
Wiltshire Sight is an independent charity supporting people living with sight loss in Wiltshire and Swindon. We assist more than 2,500 people of all ages, as well as their families and carers. Salisbury Medical Practice hosts a Sight Cafe monthly for anyone living with sight loss on the 1st Tuesday of every month between 1-3pm.
Wiltshire Centre for Independent Living
Wiltshire Centre for Independent Living is an organisation managed by disabled people and is committed to supporting all disabled people to achieve choice, control and equal rights.
